Warra Progress and Heritage Society - Railway Trolleys Repair Project
The iconic Fairmont railway trolleys situated in Richard Best Memorial Park at Warra were in need of repair, due to exposure to weather and general wear and tear.
Council was able to assist with funding from the Community Projects Program, so that the Warra Progress & Heritage Society could engage a local tradesperson to repair the trolleys and return them to good condition so they would last for many years to come.
Any day of the week you will see visitors, travellers, tourists, young and old take great interest in the railways trolleys at the station platform.
They are a unique part of the history of Warra, and we encourage those who have not yet visited them to stop by.

The Community Projects Program supports equipment purchases, capital infrastructure, upgrading of facilities to meet standards, regulations and community expectations, meet changing community needs and/or increase facility usage.
