Dalby Toastmasters welcome the Western Division

Toastmasters is a global organisation that focuses on developing confidence, leadership and public speaking skills in a supportive environment. The Dalby Toastmasters had the honour of recently hosting the Toastmasters Western Division Conference and Competition.

These events are often highly anticipated, with the Dalby event attracting attendees from across southeast and central western Queensland, as well as visitors from as far away as Townsville. It gave locals and visiting members the chance to connect in person and share experiences.

Funding from the Community Events Program was used to support competition and conference expenses such as venue hire and trophies.

The weekend also provided a boost to local business, with attendees enjoying local accommodation, dining, and attractions in and around Dalby.

The success of this event is owed to the endless hospitality of the Dalby Toastmasters, and the incredible work they devote to organising, coordinating and running these events.
