Juandah Rodeo Association Inc - Wandoan Rodeo 2024
The Juandah Rodeo Association hosted their 2024 Wandoan Rodeo in early November, which served as a platform to empower the community by fostering connections, encouraging local participation, and celebrating shared values.
The event brought together individuals and provided opportunities for collaboration, skill-sharing, and showcasing local talent. It bolstered community spirit through the collective efforts in organizing and hosting the event. By involving local businesses and community groups, the event also bridged different sectors of the community. Local businesses benefited from increased exposure and trade through the Rodeo, including the purchase of goods required for the event's operations. Additionally, with many attendees camping at the showgrounds, the event contributed to economic benefits within the district.
Council was able to support the event under the Communit Events Program, with $2,500.00 cash funding and $1,250.00 In Kind Assistance for the provision of a water truck. The success of the 2024 Wandoan Rodeo demonstrated the value of coming together, leaving lasting memories and relationships that will benefit the community long after the event concluded.
