Alterations to Council Land/Facility
The Landowners Consent Form is for community organisations that operate on Council owned and controlled land to complete when requesting permission to make changes to a Council site.
Why do I need to complete a Landowners Consent Form?
If your community group wants to make changes to land owned or managed by Council, you’ll need to fill out a Landowners Consent Form. This is simply Council’s way of saying, “Yes, we’re aware of your plans and we consent.”
It helps Council:
- Understand what you’re planning to do
- Make sure it’s safe and in line with legislative requirements
- Ensure it fits with the community’s needs and future plans
- Protect public spaces for everyone’s benefit
Think of it like asking permission before making changes to a shared space, it keeps everything fair, safe and well-managed.
