Public Liability Insurance Reimbursement

In the 2024/2025 financial year, Council’s Reimbursement Program provided a total of $20,023.03 in funding to support 27 community groups with the cost of their annual Public Liability Insurance. 
 
Under the Reimbursement Program, community groups can apply for financial assistance (up to the value of $1,000.00 per annum per facility) to help cover their Public Liability Insurance costs. The initiative supports Council's commitment to making recreational spaces and community facilities across the region attractive, safe and accessible.
 
If your organisation is responsible for (or is the approved user/support group of):
  • A Council owned facility
  • A facility that Council is trustee of

You may be eligible to receive up to $1,000.00 per financial year for reimbursement of your Public Liability Insurance.
