Heart of the Western Downs captured in Regional Lifestyle Magazine

The people, places and stories at the heart of the Western Downs has been immortalised in print in the new winter edition of the Regional Lifestyle Magazine (RLM).

The magazine showcases the Western Downs across 131-pages, offering readers a rich and immersive journey through the Western Downs vibrant communities, industries, and landscapes.

Council Spokesperson for Tourism and Recreational Spaces Cr Kaye Maguire said this magazine celebrates everything that makes the region such a special place to live, work, and visit.

“This edition is a rare opportunity to share our region’s story with a national audience, and we’re thrilled to see the Western Downs featured so extensively,” Cr Maguire said.

“Whether it’s our passionate community members, unique tourism experiences, or agricultural excellence, this magazine will show why the Western Downs is truly the place to be.

"The Western Downs has a story worth telling, from being home to the world's largest header front, to leading the way with unmanned robotic sprayers, innovation runs deep in our soil.

"This magazine will shine a spotlight on the local heroes, homegrown success stories and vibrant events that make our region truly one of a kind."
