Water Notices Due — Customers only have a short time left to pay their water notices before the due date of Wednesday 17 February. If you settle your account in full on, or before, the due date you will receive a 10 per cent discount on your bill. Customers can pay in-person at any Customer Service Centre; by Australia Post; over the phone; or via BPAY. If paying electronically, please allow plenty of time for Council to receive your payment. Dalby CBD Works Update — Despite the recent wet weather, the Dalby CBD Improvement Project is progressing well with the Stage 1 works on the Archibald Street Intersection set to be completed tonight. Stage 1 works on the Patrick and Cunningham Street Intersection will commence on Sunday 14 February at 6pm. Patrick Street in the CBD will be closed until Tuesday 16 February, with Cunningham Street remaining open. To allow crews to complete works, the Patrick and Cunningham Street Intersection will be closed from 6pm to 6am Tuesday to Thursday. Motorists are asked to seek an alternate route during the closure period. Keep an eye out for future updates! ~ Engineering Team

This financial year marked the first time not-for-profit community groups in Chinchilla district were able to apply for Council's 'The Recycling Market Enviro Grants' Program following the opening of the Chinchilla Waste and Recycling Centre. Cr Greg Olm and Iolar Operational Services Managing Director Patrick Navin had the pleasure of awarding the Chinchilla Lions Club $3,000 to go towards the environmental improvement of Lions Park, Chinchilla.
