Yesterday, Deputy Mayor George Moore joined representatives from Queensland Murray-Darling Committee (QMDC), Origin, and the community to officially open the Condamine Town Weir fish ladder. The ladder is designed to help native fish 'step' their way over the weir wall. This initiative was funded by Origin on behalf of Australia Pacific LNG, and constructed by QMDC with support from Council. ~ WDRC Comms Team

Chinchilla Water Supply — Residents in Chinchilla are advised that a water main break is currently affecting some households and businesses along Hypatia, Colamba, and Middle Streets. SEVERE WEATHER WARNING — at 1.04pm the Bureau of Meteorology issued a warning that severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds, heavy rainfall and large hailstones over the next several hours.
