Tara Lagoon Parklands

Tara Lagoon Parklands Redevelopment Project Completed 2021 - (37).jpg

Located on the edge of town, Tara Lagoon is part of the Undulla Creek and host to a serene camping ground with great facilities, play equipment and powered camping sites. A pathway along the water's edge provides a tranquil walking or cycling track and ample opportunity to enjoy the impressive native parrots and birdlife that collect in the eucalypts.

Tara Lagoon is the perfect destination for stretching your legs, sightseeing and setting up camp to enjoy what Tara and the surrounds has to offer.

Prebooking for campsites are recommended but not required. Please forward all enquiries to our Tara Lagoon Parklands Caretaker, Katie / Lillie on 0475 716 265.

Duck Feeder

Council has installed a new Duck Feeder, dispensing specially formulated pellet feed designed to support the health of ducks and keep our waterways clean.

Please refrain from feeding ducks' bread.

Rotting bread pollutes the water and breeds deadly diseases and parasites leading to algae blooms and other water quality problems, while bread offers no nutritional value to ducks.

Pellet feed is available from the Duck Feeder vending machine for $2.
