Tara Festival of Culture & Camel Races

There are still plenty of sites available within the Festival campgrounds, however they are managed by the festival committee. 

Unfortunately, the Tara Lagoon Parklands campground is fully booked during the Camel Races event, so should you wish to attend the festival and are looking for a campsite, please contact the festival committee directly to make a site booking.

Duck Feeder

Council has installed a new Duck Feeder, dispensing specially formulated pellet feed designed to support the health of ducks and keep our waterways clean.

Please refrain from feeding ducks' bread.

Rotting bread pollutes the water and breeds deadly diseases and parasites leading to algae blooms and other water quality problems, while bread offers no nutritional value to ducks. 

Pellet feed is available from the Duck Feeder vending machine for $2.
