The Accelerate Manufacturing Conference brings together regional businesses, industry experts, and other stakeholders to uncover strategies and opportunities for further growth.
After huge success in 2022, 2023 and 2024 the free Accelerate Manufacturing Conference is returning to the Western Downs for its fourth year on Wednesday, 21 May 2025.

The Protein Conference brings together all four industries of beef, pork, poultry and dairy with the view to share best practice, advocate for common policy change and allow collaboration across the sectors. This conference is a must-attend event for all industry participants.
The summit features leaders from the Surat Basin energy industry to discuss the challenges and opportunities involved in guaranteeing reliable and affordable energy supply while transitioning to low carbon. The role of the Surat Basin, and the Western Downs as 'Energy Capital in Queensland' are central to the conversation.
The Young Entrepreneurship Summit (YES) aims to inspire the youth of the Western Downs to dream big, embrace their potential and seize opportunities in business and their future careers. This is an interactive summit designed to inspire and empower a generation of brave, creative and entrepreneurial young leaders in a high energy event. YES is run by young people, for young people.
