Washdown Facilities are an important tool used to assist with managing the spread of invasive weeds. 

Washing your vehicles and machinery reduces the threat to our agricultural industries & environment.

All our facilities are CCTV monitored.

 

Keys for usage

A "non-refundable' lifetime Avdata key is available for purchase at any of Council's Customer Service Centres. 

The cost for the key is $40.00 and can be used at any Washdown facility in Australia using the Avdata system.

**Please note, the Washdown key is not interchangeable with the water standpipe keys.

Fees

Washdown bays are billed by the minute of usage.

High pressure outlet - $1.25 per minute

High volume outlet - $1.75 per minute

 

Chinchilla

  

Location:

Chinchilla - Slessar Street  (Old Chinchilla Saleyards)

1 x Light vehicle ramp
Compressed air available

Hours of operation

24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Please note, the facility will be closed regularly for cleaning

Chinchilla - All resource and civil vehicle types.
**No livestock vehicles (this facility is unable to treat livestock effluent onsite due to legislative requirements)

Weight limit

30 tonne track machines must remain on their float or on tyres to avoid damage to wash down surface

Rules of use

Housekeeping

All mud and dirt must be completely washed off the wash down bays to avoid slipping hazard

Damage/misuse
