Council wishes to advise that several areas in the Western Downs region will see the commencement of tree trimming and removal works during April.

Council wishes to advise that Geotechnical testing and assessments will be undertaken in Thomas Jack Park Precinct between 7 - 17 April 2026. Residents are asked to be mindful of signage and exclusion zones in place while these works are underway. Disruptions to the park and play areas will be minimal.

Council would like to advise that all supervised Waste Facilities, except the Winfields Road Waste Facility, will be closed on Good Friday 3 April 2026.
