Western Downs Regional Council advises that Thomas Jack Park is now temporarily closed to allow for construction works as part of the precinct revitalisation and the new Dalby Cultural Centre.
Construction commenced on Monday 25 May 2026, with works focused on delivering new community facilities and park upgrades. The closure is required to ensure public safety during construction.
A staged reopening of park areas will occur as works are completed, with some new park features expected to open from early 2027.
Council thanks the Dalby community for its patience and understanding while these important improvements are delivered.
