Council would like to advise that the Queensland Government no longer designates the Western Downs Regional Council area as a drought-declared region. Consequently, the 50% standpipe rebate formerly available to residents has been discontinued. Standard full-price fees will be applied to all standpipe users and account holders effective 14 August 2025.
