Please be advised that flood restoration works are scheduled for Sandalwood Avenue West floodway, Dalby between Sandalwood Avenue South and Dixon Street, Dalby with a commencement date in August and estimated completion date of late - November, weather permitting. The scope of these works is to upgrade the site from a bitumen sealed floodway to a concrete floodway.
During this upgrade process, Sandalwood Avenue West will be closed to all traffic. Access will be available on Sandalwood Avenue West either side, but very limited to nil access will be available through this floodway. Core flute signage will be installed at both approaches to notify motorists of road closures.
The safety of residents and road users is of utmost importance. Please adhere to roadworks signage, seek alternative options where possible, and follow any instructions issues by construction personnel.
