Washdown Facility Improvements

Washdown facilities in Dalby, Chinchilla and Wandoan play an important role in protecting the region’s environment and supporting local industries, helping prevent the spread of contaminants, weeds, and pests. 

They provide a convenient, purpose-built space for vehicles and equipment to be cleaned safely and responsibly. 

Council is investing $160,000 in upgrades to these key facilities, including a $120,000 renewal at the Dalby Washdown Facility and a $40,000 renewal at the Chinchilla Washdown Facility, ensuring they remain safe, reliable and effective for the community.
