Council has revitalised Wandoan's Waterloo Plain Environmental Park as part of its COVID-19 Recovery Package to stimulate the economy and boost the region's great liveability.
Council's revamp built on ideas from the local community and has improved the overall amenity of the area by upgrading facilities and enhancing the area's natural landscape.
Works enhanced the much-loved area and will continue to encourage more people to head outdoors and enjoy all the region has to offer, while also offering opportunities for people to visit our local towns, stimulate the economy, and experience the best of the Western Downs.

- New irrigation system
- Landscaping
- New picnic shelter and picnic table
- BBQ
- Drinking fountain
- New tree plantings
- New entry signage
- New footpath linkages
- Rehabilitation of the arch
