Councillor Kylie Bourne is a first-term Councillor and qualified Early Childhood Educator bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience in arts and culture and community development. 

 Growing up in the Drillham district and later settling in Miles, Cr Bourne has been an active member of the community for more than 20 years. Throughout this time, Cr Bourne has worked as a primary school teacher in remote communities and in cultural development roles. She has also been a part of various community groups including the Miles Chamber of Commerce and Miles Historical Village Museum. 

 Away from her role as a Councillor, Cr Bourne is a practising mosaic artist and has a special interest in arts and culture. She also enjoys gardening and spending time with family.
