The Western Downs Events Bootcamp is a free, one-day professional development initiative; designed to give community groups and event organisers the confidence, tools, and inspiration to run successful events.

Event Bootcamp

8.30am-4pm

Throughout the day, practical workshops led by experienced event and creative industry professionals will empower anyone involved in planning or delivering community events from long-standing festivals, small local gatherings, or just exploring a new event idea.

Participants will gain practical knowledge, resources, and strategies to plan, promote, and deliver impactful community events.

Networking Event

4-6.30pm

The Event Bootcamp will conclude with a networking event, open to both event organisers and local event-related businesses. This session is an opportunity to connect with fellow organisers, speakers, and local event-related businesses, in order to build valuable relationships that support events across the region.

Event Bootcamp is free to attend, however registrations are essential and tickets are limited. At this stage, attendance is capped at two representatives per organisation/business.

Assistance is being provided through the jointly funding Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.
