Come along to one of our free events and hear about the exciting changes to Council's Grant Programs from WDRC's Grants & Funding Team, or sharpen your grant writing skills with Gigi from Instinct Organisational Development.

Council Grants Information Sessions - All locations

Council's Grants Team is travelling across the region to share updates on Council's new and exciting Grant Programs!

What to expect:

  • Insight into changes to Council's Grant Programs and Guidelines
  • Guidance on applying for Council Grants
  • Opportunities for community groups to ask questions

Grant Writing Workshops - Dalby & Miles only

In addition to the Council Grants Information, the Dalby and Miles sessions feature Grant Writing Workshops with Gigi from Instinct Organisational Development to help you hone your grant writing skills.

What to expect:

  • Understanding on how to effectively write a project plan
  • Understand the difference between having a great idea and developing that into a project plan that will target funding program priorities
  • Exploration of the differences between outcomes and outputs and why that is important when writing your funding application
  • How to report on your outcomes
  • How to use AI for grants to assist in preparing grant applications
