Western Downs Regional Council is inviting community members to take a break and gather together for a night of positive community conversations, as footy legend Nick Cummins and Outback Futures tackle the importance of looking out for each other during challenging times.

Nick 'The Honey Badger' Cummins

With over a decade of elite sport under his belt, Nick speaks about resilience, hard work, and perseverance. His global adventures for sport and personal projects has also provided this larrikin with endless, humour filled experiences to share.

Nick also spreads his time across the Rogue Gentlemen’s Club (RGC). Offering small-group adventure travel for men, it furthers a cause close to Nick’s heart – mental health, the need for men to open up about their own struggles, and the healing powers of mateship and nature.

Outback Futures

Outback Futures are a not-for-profit working with outback kids, youth, adults, families and communities. Their mission is to nurture and empower the outback by renewing hope, building resilience and strengthening community. Their visionis to see rural and remote communities equipped with the confidence and tools to identify and address their own mental health and wellbeing challenges.
