Past Planning Scheme
The Western Downs Planning Scheme, containing the alignment amendment to the Planning Act 2016, was adopted by Western Downs Regional Council on 17 May 2017.
The Western Downs Planning Scheme has now been superseded(PDF, 12MB) by the Western Downs Planning Scheme incorporating Amendment 1.
The prior Council's which amalgamated to form Western Downs Regional Council utilised a number of planning documents to guide the development of the community. These planning schemes are as follows:
These planning schemes are no longer in affect, given that the Western Downs Planning Scheme has superseded these documents.
