Mary's Place Opening

The community is invited to enjoy a jam-packed afternoon of family-friendly activities, live entertainment, and a first-of-its-kind movie screening to celebrate the completion of the revitalised 120 Cunningham Street in Dalby, and to officially open the space as Mary's Place.

This project has been delivered as part of Council's COVID-19 Recovery Package in partnership with the Queensland Government Works 4 Queensland program. Council is excited to welcome everyone to the new outdoor space and show just how spectacular it will be for the town, and the opportunity it presents for our community going forward.

Event Program

Official Opening Ceremony | 3pm – 3.30pm

Activities and Live Entertainment | 3.30pm – 5.30pm
Activities include putt-putt, face painting, a jumping castle, lantern decorating, balloon twister, roaming entertainment and more, all of which can be enjoyed while listening to local musical talent Kadi Lillis.

Local Talent Showcase | 5.30pm – 6.30pm
Local acts will take to the stage to show off their musical talents in the local talent showcase.

Movie Screening | 6.30pm – 8.30pm
Super Mario Bros will play on the big screen marking the first of many outdoor movie nights to take place at the new location.

Food and drink vendors will also be in attendance selling their delicious treats to see you through the day. While the event is free to attend, cash may be required to purchase from the stallholders.
