Promote your Event

Western Downs Regional Council is committed to supporting our community groups and organisations to run exciting events and initiatives in our region. Non-profit community groups and organisations can apply for promotional assistance through a number of Council channels:

  • a listing on the My Community Diary directory
  • a post on our events focused Facebook page “Western Downs Invites You”
  • an advertisement slide on our new digital billboards (Dalby and Chinchilla)
    • Approved events will be promoted for up to 2 weeks on Council’s digital billboards. Artwork will be created by Council’s Communications Team in-line with display guidelines and based on information supplied in your application. Full Terms and conditions for billboard promotion apply.

Promotion of community events is subject to terms and conditions and will be displayed at the discretion of Council.

To ensure your event can be scheduled and displayed for the maximum amount of time, please ensure that you submit your event details at least 4 weeks prior to the event end date.
