Volunteering with Council

Volunteerism in the Western Downs

Western Downs Regional Council is a strong advocate for volunteerism and are proud of the volunteering culture present within the community.
Volunteers have such a big impact in their communities, society and overall they contribute a global effort in making a difference in the world.
The Western Downs has a higher average number than the Queensland average of volunteers across the 25 to 54 year age bracket with over 25% of the community actively volunteering.
Every volunteer gets something different from the experience.
