Senior’s Month HomeLiving HereSenior’s Month Throughout the month of October, our seniors will be enjoying a wide range of activities across the Western Downs region, including free morning teas, and trivia mornings to celebrate Seniors Month. With over 40 activities lined up including Movie Events and exciting library activities, there’s sure to be something for everyone. Local venues are opening their doors to host a range of activities with learning about tech, grandparents bowls a day, and beautiful morning teas, just a few of the items that are sure to be a hit. Council would like to invite the entire region to join in on the celebrations and get involved in the activities. The highlight of seniors month on the Western Downs is where seniors will be treated to discounted screenings of the film ‘Dream Horse’ at Chinchilla Cinema, with popcorn included in the $2 ticket price.
