Confidential Drought Assistance Sessions

Drought assistance agencies will be in the region to assist with funding applications, financial planning and mental health support.

This is an opportunity for primary producers across the Western Downs to meet confidentially and face-to-face with relevant agency representatives and service providers who offer crucial services to those feeling the impacts of the drought. This is also an opportunity to discuss how producers can access and benefit from drought assistance.

Some example organisations that will attend are:

  • Department of Human Services
  • Drought Angels
  • RHealth
  • Lifeline
  • Queensland Department of Agriculture
  • Queensland Country Women’s Association
  • Rural Financial Counselling Service
