In good seasons, the lagoon presents a fine stretch of water and is a favourite location for locals and visitors to enjoy waterskiing, boating, swimming, fishing and bird watching. As part of Council's COVID-19 Recovery Package, Council is delivering improvements to the popular recreation spot, which will enhance facilities for visitors and preserve the natural environment. This is one of several improvement projects taking place across the Western Downs to stimulate local economies and boost the region's great liveability.
