The Western Downs Planning Scheme has now been superseded by the Western Downs Planning Scheme, containing the alignment amendment. The previous Councils that amalgamated to form Western Downs Regional Council used a number of planning documents to guide the development of the community. These planning schemes are as follows: Chinchilla Shire Planning Scheme Dalby Town Planning Scheme Murilla Shire Planning Scheme Tara Shire Planning Scheme Taroom Shire Planning Scheme Wambo Shire Planning Scheme These planning schemes are no longer in affect, given that the Western Downs Planning Scheme now becomes the superseded Planning Scheme.
