Pursuant to s. 133 Local Government Regulation 2012 - Interest has been calculated on overdue rates and charges from the day rates and charges became overdue at 8.53% per annum compounding daily until 19 May 2021.

Until such time as the rates and charges including interest has been paid, interest will continue to accrue and be calculated at 8.53% per annum compounding daily to 30 June 2021.  From 1 July 2021, interest on overdue rates and charges will be calculated at 8.03% per annum compounding daily. This rate is the sum of the Reserve Bank of Australia's published March bank yield rate plus 8%.
