Western Downs Regional Council is considering the surrender of its trusteeship of the land described as Reserve for Sport and Recreation - Lot 6 on Crown Plan FT966, 1473 Ponty Pool Road Bungaban (previously known as Cockatoo State School), which comprises of 2.215 hectares (approximately).
Council intends to seek the approval of the Department of Resources for the surrender of the trusteeship of the land, as the land has been unused for some time and Council has no future plans for it.
Any person who may consider their interests may be affected by the surrender is required to submit his/her objections and/or enquiries in writing before 31 December 2023 to Council:
