FAQ's FAQ's

1. How do I know what day my bin will be collected?

Contact Council's Customer Contact Centre on 1300 268 624

2. What happens if my wheelie bin splits / loses a lid?

Residents should contact your Customer Service Centre as above and a replacement wheelie bin will be arranged.

3. What should I do if my wheelie bin was not emptied?

If your bin was not emptied due to it not being put out prior to collection, refuse can be taken to the closest landfill, otherwise it will have to wait for collection the following week.

Should your bin be missed due to other circumstances, please contact your Customer Service Centre for investigation.

4. If I move into a new house / unit etc and it doesn't  have a wheelie bin, what should I do?

Contact your Customer Service Centre as they will have to determine whether a service has already been commenced for that property and whether or not just a replacement bin is required.

For all new dwellings / units etc Council cannot commence a waste service until a final inspection has been carried out and copy of the Form 21 has been received by Council.
