Report issues to Council easily with free Snap Send Solve mobile app

In less than 30 seconds residents and visitors to the Western Downs can report issues and provide feedback to Council anywhere, anytime thanks to the free Snap Send Solve smart phone app.

  • Using the Snap Send Solve app, residents and visitors can access Council services, report problems, provide feedback and ask questions;
  • The app allows users to easily report common incidents directly to Council with a photograph, including: potholes, dumped rubbish, broken play equipment, and noise disturbances, as well as provide feedback on Council projects and work;
  • Using your phone’s GPS location the app sends your report directly to Council’s Customer Contact Centre, who’ll acknowledge the receipt of your request and task it to the appropriate area for action.

Western Downs Regional Council Spokesperson for Finance and Corporate Services Councillor Ian Rasmussen said the smart phone app provides an easier and quicker alternative for customers to get in touch with Council.

“We’re committed to improving our customer service delivery, and Snap Send Solve provides a convenient and practical way for our residents and visitors who are out and about in our region to let us know when there is a problem that requires Council’s attention,” he said.

“When you’re on the go and spot a problem such as a drainage issue or broken playground equipment and don’t have the time to email or call Council, the app gives you a fast alternative to contacting us.

“Snap Send Solve also gives our residents a simple and easy way to provide feedback on what Council is doing in our communities, from parks and gardens, to facilities and community events.

“When using the app, we encourage residents and visitors to include their contact details so that the Officer investigating the matter can contact you about the outcome of your report.”
